MIT's  Institute Community and Equity Office (ICEO)

The following links  are to offices and procedures at MIT that address complaints that may be legitimate or may be attempts to restrict free speech and as such, need careful attention. The ICEO is mostly about policies unrelated to free speech (e.g., MLK programs, inclusive restrooms,  the ad hoc committee on arts, culture, and DEI), but some of its activities are closely related to MFSA's mission. 

• MIT’s Institute Community & Equity Office. This is the main office, under which are the other ICEO offices. 

• Institute Discrimination and Harassment Response Office.

•  The Bias Response Team, MIT's office for handling complaints of biased behavior. 

• Incident Reporting Form: Institute Discrimination and Harassment Response Office, the form from the Maxient corporation that helps with surveillance of student speech at many universities.
